THE THINGS THAT HAPPENS WITH OUR FILM'S STAR...
...Yes, definitivly these famous people have to live in the middle of our focus.
The last example was our drama queen, Davina Moody who was in California in order to attend the premiere of The Lady Loves, her last movie. Since the moment She arrived with her entourage to the Hollywood Hills Hotel, started a series of strange and curious things to happen. First, the hotel manager, Arnold Baglioni lost his usually calm and patient with the arrival of our star, when she didn't find a red carpet to walk on the sidewalk, but finally she said "I just asked for an umbrella, never a red carpet". After that, the roses on the corridor were yellow and she hates this color, but again she said "red yellow white roses, they are all the same to me". Another situation was the lights in her hotel room, they were yellow and the lighting director was fired because she doesn't like yellow ligths at all; fortunately she wasn't wake up when there was a small fire in the hotel kitchens because her bad-tempered.
Finally, she missed the premiere because a simple broken finger nail, and the next morning's newspaper headlines read: DAVINA'S $10.000.000 MOVIE DISASTER.
So this movie has flopped and our Davina has to work hard if she wants a real OSCAR.

ResponderEliminarWe are a Lower Intermediate English Course from Asuncion, Paraguay. Our female students think that Davina is really fuzzy and selfish, but our male students, including the teacher, think that she is talented and very good-looking and would like to meet her. Unfortunately, we don't have a red carpet and our classroom is painted in yellow. What a pity!
